清醒梦(Lucid Dreaming)是在做梦时保持清醒的状态,又称作清明梦、明晰梦。清醒梦跟白日梦并不相同,清醒梦是做梦者于睡眠状态中保持意识清醒;白日梦则是做梦者于清醒状态中进行冥想或幻想,而不进入睡眠状态中。在清醒梦的状态下,做梦者可以在梦中拥有清醒时候的思考和记忆能力,部分的人甚至可以使自己的梦境中的感觉真实得跟现实世界并无二样,但却知道自己身处梦中。
清明梦练习是非常古老的瑜伽科学。《瑜伽经》里就有明确的记载,在《瑜伽经》第一篇三摩地就有讲到抵达三摩地的路径和方法,其中之一就是通过对睡梦的觉察来实现超觉的状态。在密宗学说里,更是把睡梦瑜伽当做是无上瑜伽,寓意是指罪高无上的修行法门,再也没有比这更高了。
我们的能量丢失在清醒状态,丢失在我们的个人历史之中,以至于,当我们做梦的时候,我们依然在扮演着我们清醒状态一样的角色。我们使用同样的身份毫无疑问的让我们周而复始的重复我们的经历,无论是在做梦还是清醒时的生活都是如此。而清醒梦与睡梦瑜伽可以帮助我们重新建立对梦境的认知,通过梦境的修持,练习者能够生成清醒、健康的梦,让梦成为真实生活的一部分,从而运用梦作为自己获得能量、保存能量、走向圆满的一种方法。睡瑜伽是另一种重要的修习,它是比梦瑜伽更难的一种方法,这种修习可以将意念安住在明净与空性之中,超越感知与被感知的二元性分割。
