此《皇极经世书传》为明代黄畿著。全书分为：以元经会、以会经运、以运经世、声音唱和、观物内篇上下卷、观物外篇上下卷，共八卷，六十四篇。其内容是解读注释宋代学者邵雍的著作《皇极经世书》。此为南京大学图书馆藏明嘉靖三十三年黄佐刊本。

《皇极经世》又名《皇极经世书》是宋代学者邵雍研究周易而自创的经天纬地之预测学。”皇极”一词来自《尚书·洪范》孔颖达疏：”皇，大也；极，中也。”以此名书，意为以最大的规范来经纬世事。其根据河洛数理，周易阴阳皇极经世，天地物理，人类进化的推衍，创立了 “元、会、运、世” 一套有规律的预测方法。 129600 年为一元，为人类的一个发展周期，在 “大算数” 里仅一天而已。每元十二会，各 10800 年。每会三十运，各三百六十年。每运十二世，各三十年。元会运世各有卦象表示，每年亦有卦象表示其天文、地理、人事发展变化。只要洞其玄机，用其生化之理，天地万物之生命运程，皆了然于心，人类历史、朝代兴亡、世界分合、自然变化皆未卜先知矣。这是一部运用易理和易数推究宇宙起源、自然演化和社会历史变迁的著作，以图书象数之学显于世。

This “Biography of Huangji Jingshi” was written by Huang Ji in the Ming Dynasty.
